“Fine dining between bread”
While many sandwich shops make good sandwiches, only a small few serve creations that will truly knock your socks off. And possibly your pants. In 2008, Chef Justin Brunson and partner Stephen Allee set out to open a deli that would leave its customers sockless, pants-less and completely satisfied. And Masterpiece Deli was born. In only 5-years, Masterpiece has fostered legions of loyal fans, received much recognition and is set to open a second location this fall. The key to its success? The food is really damn tasty. Armed with years of experience at some of Denver’s best restaurants, Chef Brunson’s sandwiches are as comfortable on brown butcher paper as they are your grandmother’s fine china. Meats are braised, cured and roasted daily in our kitchen. Heck, we even make our own bacon. Each sandwich is topped off with house-made sauces and spreads and served on fresh, locally baked bread. And while almost impossible to grow tired of your favorite Masterpiece sandwich, our chefs do try to keep it fresh. So we offer daily lunch and dinner specials. And many times they truly out do themselves. Past special ingredients have included duck confit, prosciutto and foie gras —which of course is fancy-speak for delicious. Wow, anyone else hungry? Stop by Masterpiece Deli for breakfast, lunch, dinner or an extremely filling snack.
