Black Eye Coffee is a place to slow down and enjoy the craftsmanship of beautiful coffee in a beautiful environment. We are located in the Highlands of Denver, a historical working class neighborhood that we embrace with our aesthetic and character. The shop is an oasis for the north side. With a roll up garage door front, classic tile back splashes and an inspiring bar made from distressed wood, it is one of the most inviting and unique coffee shops in Colorado. Featuring single origin coffees by rotating craft roasters from around the country, the standard is one of the highest in Denver. We believe that high quality coffee and espresso should be accessible to everyone. We also have limited and exclusive food menu, pastries, teas and homemade sodas.

A come-as-you-are vibe dominates this community-minded java joint that drips to a slower pace and provides a sunlit, laid-back respite from the hustle and bustle just beyond the roll-up garage door. The baristas, all extremely well-versed in coffee culture, pull an excellent cappuccino, which is best suited to a French macaron or blueberry scone.

I've only been to the downtown location but absolutely love it. Totally intentional design and a great place to post up for food and wifi. The downtown location has insanely delicious breakfast options (avocado toast with poached egg, french toast) and a flawless aesthetic of 20s boxing bar / ice cream parlor turned coffee. I expect this original location boasts the same.
