El-Chapultepec

El Chapultepec has had live Jazz since 1978 and is still going strong. As times have changed we have added Blues & Funk music to our venue. The music still sounds great any night of the week you choose to come. Considered "one of the best bars in Colorado" by Esquire Magazine. We do not have our own parking lot so remember to bring quartets if you want to park on the street.  The meters are 24 hrs now. There is a few pay parking lots across the street from us. We our a cash only bar no credit cards. Original Beatnik haunts do survive in the city. Kerouac used to visit the tiny, timeless El Chapultepec, a no-thrills jazz legend with red chequered floors and a stage that’s hosted Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald. Local jazz bands now take the stage nightly.
