Piss poor. To many advertisements

The only gas for miles (if pricy), a cozy diner, a 4-room motel, and warm, chatty staff and patrons made this oasis in the middle of nowhere else a welcome break from the road. Try their milk shakes!

I came through here recently on a road trip. I had planned to check out the hot springs and grab lunch at this little cafe, but it was closed. Being that I had no service out here (AT&T), I couldn't load a map and had to wing it west and cross my fingers, skipping the hot springs and lunch all together. There is also no gas station (unless the one in the parking lot works during operating hours - I'm not sure). Call ahead while you still have service to make sure they're open before heading out here, and make sure you have enough gas to get back where you came from or to your next destination! I was heading to Oregon, and didn't see any services or have cell service until I reached Adel, OR. It was a bit nerve-racking!

There is very little else out here, and for us this place was like an oasis. We didn't use the motel part but the bar/restaurant is a divey sort of bar diner, with all sorts of hunting paraphernalia all over the walls. People are friendly and they'll make you a warm breakfast - the only one you'll get for a long way in any direction!
