Broke Mill RV Park

Lovely, everything appears to be nice and newish. Fairly spacious sites, level. Laundry room is immaculate and has plenty of machines, all of which appear to be fairly new. Owner/management are lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend! (3 stars for noise is only because it's right off of a busy highway, nothing to be done about that!)
I notice all the photos that were already here before I did my review show the grass as brown. Right now in October 2018 everything is very green and lovely! (See 1 photo.)

We planned for this stop to be an overnight stop, but had to spend several nights due to some mechanical issues. This was a very nice RV park - the owners live on the premises & are very accomodating, available for any questions you may have. Staff & maintenance are always visible & working. This is a privately owned park & the owners take much pride in their park. 50 amp power, full hookups, Laundry room, pool, gathering room, dog park, bird watching area & walking trails. Wi-fi is great! RV sites are very long & a nice space in between sites.

I think the highlight was the Thursday night BBQ with a live band!!! So much fun & SO DELICIOUS!!!! The hospitality is great! The park itself was quiet although highway noise is loud but it does quiet down after dark. It was NOT a problem & there is nothing the park can do about it.

We pulled in after hours and although no prices were posted, the instructions were clear and we parked in one of the “after hours” pull thru slots. Everything was spotless - shower, laundry, rev room. There is a well equipped gym, and the facility overall was very well taken care of. The owner told us about the Thursday night BBQ and live music, too bad we missed that!! Although there was highway noise and entering was lit up more than our night before at Big Bend NP, it was to be expected right off the highway going into a good size town, and like someone else said, the owners can’t help that. If you get there early enough and can rent a space toward the back of the property, the noise might be reduced.

Large pull through sites with plenty of space between campers. Large dog park with wash station. Pool, exercise room, bird watching area, hiking trails, free wi/fi. Very well thought out park. Clean and well kept. Owner was very friendly and full of information about the area.

Came here since the reviews were really good. However out spot is near two big intersections so road noise was abundant, especially with the trucks using their air brakes. We asked for a spot away from the freeway/90 but was told it was for monthly.

Pull thru was long but narrow and close to others. Dirt with poor looking grass on both sides. WIFI was excellent cable did not work.

We used this park as a good stopover on our way west. It is a roomy park with excellent facilities. The showers and bathrooms were spotless, the wi-fi functioned very well (even for streaming), and Del Rio is right there to restock and replenish. We would stay again.

We were headed to Big Bend and this is a wonderful place to stay. We had a pull through site that is perfect as we were towing a car. The owner was so nice and the pool was wonderful as it was 99 degrees outside when we arrived. Bathrooms were so clean which we appreciated with Covid even though we had our vaccines. Also has a birding trail with a bird blind with chairs to watch birds. Some road noise but not enough to keep us awake. Perfect place to stay!

I was in Del Rio for 3 months as a contractor. I couldn’t have found a better place to stay! The owners are friendly and very helpful. The facility and bathrooms are so clean and very well kept. If I ever come back to Del Rio I would stay here again!
