Some have a tree but most are unshaded. Not 100% level but close enough. Picnic table. We stayed one night while heading to Milwaukee. About 1hr20m drive. Very clean park. There is a playground and pool. Good WI-FI, only for browsing, not downloading. If it detects downloading software, it boots you off which is reasonable. Check out not till noon. Lots of freeway noise if outside but inside our RV, we didnt hear anything

We were having a great time in Wisconsin dells when I became ill. Family ended up staying here while I had it wasa procedure done. My son and family did some sightseeing in and out of checking on me while my husband an pup visited me. It was a pretty easy ride to st Mary's hospital where I stayed. The people there at the koa were genuinely concerned and so helpful. It was a great place to stay, clean quiet, easy on and off. The staff was most helpful

We did not end up here by choice. We had booked a site at Devil's Lake State Park but I booked a site that was too small (my mistake). Devil's Lake was crazy packed so, unfortunately, we had to move on. With it being middle of summer, there was not much availability and surrounding campgrounds so we ended up here. As far as a KOA, this was pretty nice. In the long run, it ended up becoming a great location to visit Madison. The grounds were clean and the staff was helpful. It does appear there are a few people that have been there a while.
The WI capital is a great tour if you find yourself downtown.

Perfect for what we needed. We stayed overnight on our way out West. The campground is 1/4 mile from the highway, has perfectly level pull through sites and full hookups. The check in staff was great and led us to the site. He even when ahead to see if we could pull through a couple other sites so we didn't even have to turn down the road. Verizon cell was 2-3 bars LTE with data. WiFi was good - we were right next to the antenna. And there were some over the air TV channels. No trees, but there was space between the sites for a picnic table and fire ring. Go to the Cheese Chalet - they are really nice and you have to go there to get some Cheese since you are in WI!
Nightly rate included tax and KOA club discount. They have a pool which is open and limited to 25 people due to COVID.. Many people were wearing masks around the site, but not the staff.
Some road noise as would be expected near the highway.

Stayed here with the monthly rate. Daily rate would have been too pricey for us. Sites level and clean. Numerous work campers keep the place very nice. Pool and playground. Efficient laundry machines. Plenty busy park but always quiet except for some highway drone.

This is a typical, commercial, campgrounds, like most KOA's and such. You have water, sewer and 50, 30 and 20 amp electrical at your site. site were on the small side but you weren't "on top of each other." There were small trees on some of the lots but not big enough for shade. We were site seeing and gone most of the time so it worked out good for us, but if I was just camping to "enjoy nature, I would look for a different campgrounds. This in was about 20 miles from Madison. There is some interstate noise, but it didn't bother us.
The staff was helpful and friendly!

Convenient to the Interstate, but noise with the traffic. We stopped for one night on our way through but you would burn up if you stayed any longer. It is located in an old field with few trees. Pleasant manager, full facilities. Gravel parking with narrow grass side lots. The sun was hot.

We stopped in the area to find a mechanic shop, as our truck sprang a leak in the power steering/braking booster system, and Madison was the nearest town to the state park we were previously parked in. PLEASE NOTE: the nightly rate is an average. It's $61 on the weekends, $53 weekdays, and that's with a Good Sam discount.
Pros:
Grounds and facilities very well maintained (roads and pads all gravel)
Friendly staff
Nice little pool and playground for kids
Spacious off-leash dog run
Free cookies and popcorn in the office/convenience store.
Almost all pull-through sites, all sites very level and all RV sites FHU
Laundry on site
Very convenient to Madison, a great mid-size city worth a multi-day visit, and a number of really charming villages in the surrounding area
A Kwik Trip right across the street for fueling.
Cons:
Sites rather close together
Little to no shade
Relentless traffic noise from I-94
Campground WiFi a bit slow even when not crowded.
We wound up staying for 12 nights. On the whole, I'll say it's better for shorter stays. Giving it four stars though, for convenience and the other pros mentioned above.

This campground has seen better days. It isn’t as well maintained as it looks on their website.
Don’t stay in sites B1, C1 or D1. Those are near where the camp host lives. They or their guests/relatives partied, yelled, flipped off and swore obscenities at numerous paying customers during our stay.

This has not been a KOA for a couple of years now. Location is excellent and quiet for an urban park. The problem is all the big rigs navigating the narrow roads and trying to fit on short PT sites. I witnessed a big toy hauler clip a car while turning in. If you have a big rig choose your site wisely. WiFi worked for streaming and plenty of OTA channels.
