The smoked brisket and the hand-stuffed sausage keep the lines long and steady at this BBQ joint. If you're in a group, go for the meat sampler, and don't forget about the sides. Fans swear by the sweet potato, the bacon and green chile flecked mac&cheese, and the banana pudding.

A gentleman said next to me "I'm from Arkansas, and thought we had good barbecue...This place blows us out of the water!" Well spoken and worthy of this place. We waited a time to get inside, but once there, had a beer while waiting in line to order our barbeque. I had the Hot Mess and a side of Pulled pork... Amazing! So glad for the trip, and well worth the wait! Once we ordered, our food came out super quick! A true Gem of Dallas, just outside of the official downtown area.
Flew from Louisville to eat here after seeing it on Triple D. Brisket was the bomb, pulled pork salty, pork rib meat was dry and small portion (1 - 3 1/2" rib bone), Cole slaw was dry shredded cabbage leaf. The brisket was the saving grace with its bark and tenderness. Didn't like the cattle chute treatment but I don't have a better idea to handle the volume.
