“Places in Dallas, TX”
Fire totally destroyed the Biblical Arts Center and much of its artwork in June 2005. Since that time it has been re-built and rebranded as The Museum of Biblical Art or MBA, with a completely new and expanded structure, featuring 11 art galleries. The museum has a simple mission: To display art with a Biblical theme. Nothing like it exists in the United States, making it a treasure trove for Dallas. Diverse types of art are exhibited including bronze sculpture installations, drawings, fine prints, and oil paintings. Our future vision encompasses the classical arts with a call to beauty which emphasizes the Biblical figurative art illustrating the narratives of the Bible and a call to the study of classical Greco-Roman art, archaeology and architecture.
