Desert Springs RV Park

This is an old but clean RV park. Restrooms old and could do with a little renovation but clean. Nice clean small pool and small aerated pond for fishing. The best part is the Bar and Grill located next to park which is a nice place for drink & dinner. Close to Calico Ghost Town for fun visit.

This seems to have many permanent campers. There is a noisy bar close by. It wasn’t well lit, and it was very unkept. I did appreciate the hot shower.

Friendly Staff. Bathrooms were In Disrepair. There was a fight In The Nearby Bathroom at 3am, We Almost Had To Leave. We Had A Dry Campsite For $25 But I Don’t Think I’d Stay there Again.

Nice laundry, bathroom, pool, pond, bbq & site setup! Office/Store is clean with friendly, helpful staff. Had started with one night & enjoyed the environment so much, changed to 2 nights. Was able to buy propane on our way out.

This park seemed very run down. The pool was filled with leaves, and did not look clean. The restrooms were very old and not in great condition. The little fishing pond was cute, and seemed like it could have possibilities. The sites are close together. Our site was gravel and was level. One site near us looked like it had an abundant amount of trash...covered with tarps.

The wifi was good.

We used this as a one night stay, and cannot imagine wanting to stay for any length of time.

Friendly staff and clean park. After hours check in was a breeze. There is a large pond for fishing and a nice swimming pool. The park is a short distance from the highway. We will stop here again.

Clean friendly park. Lots of month to month residents but tidy throughout. Very quiet. Excellent TV reception with antenna.

Stayed here after boondocking it in the desert for a week to wash clothes, charge our batteries on our walkie talkies and take full showers, etc. overall great price for how large the spots are. Almost all are pull through sites and we were able to fit our Teton 5th wheel and Frieghtliner and Hummer in. Very wide..about 27 feet or so. Even with all our large slides we had room to roam.

We stayed just one night at Desert Springs while we fueled and shopped in Barstow. The park has several nice amenities – a swimming pool, a small fishing pond, several long level pull through sites and a small restaurant next door. There is a dump station and propane available. There is some vegetation between most of the sites for privacy and you can walk the hillside above the park for exercise. Our only knock was the amount of trash piled around several obviously long-term rentals.

We had 3 bars of 4G. The park advertised wifi, but we had no luck at all getting it to work. You could get connected, but had no internet access.
