Our story started in 1977 as a small family owned business, since then we have been named by National Geographic, USA TODAY and Food Network Magazine as the best pizza in Virginia. We strive to deliver superior quality dough and fresh cut toppings with every order. Although we have become known from coast to coast we still maintain our small, homey feeling through staying family owned. After being passed down a generation we are able to maintain the original charm and magic our restaurant started with. Our restaurant is like our home and you can most certainly feel that when you walk through the door. Open seven days a week, we welcome everyone to come experience this mouth-watering pizza worthy of all it's hype. Crozet Pizza was opened in 1977 by Bob and Karen Crum along with their four children in an old condemned building. Mr. Crum hand made every pizza that was served for 31 years. One by one people would call ahead days in advance to get one of Crozet Pizza's delicious pies. In 2004 Mr. Crum decided to retire and handed the business off to his daughter Colleen and I. The menu was spiced up a little and we added a few more salads to our menu, Greek and Spinach! The pizzas are hand tossed to order and everything that goes on your pie is cooked and cut to bake per order. We are not one of the fast food chains! Our Dough is made on site from a recipe that Karen Crum created back in the early 70's and we haven't changed it since. The only change is we offer it in whole wheat now.
