Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 04, 2022We drove in but some areas to the water were taped off. The board said closed on 9/16/18. But the gates into camp was open. Tempted to stay as the sites were close to the water and looked pretty nice but didn’t want to get locked in.
Honesty box pay and display.
The sites were on the smaller scale (we are in 33’ 5th Wheel). Some pull throughs, some back ins.
Didn’t stay long enough to checkout anything else.

We stayed here early September, 2019 for one night. We first drove in to Odell Lake Campground and the sites there are not RV conducive, even with our 19' Rpod... walked the loops at Sunset Cove and found site 14 to be a nice back-in site with a few of the lake - long enough to not un-hook too! The road noise is loud here as the campground is just off the highway, but it quieted down at night. The lake was beautiful, but we heard had algae (luckily we were between Labs, or keeping either of them out of the water would have been hard). A bit windy in the afternoon, but that was expected on this side of the lake. Cool little marina with fixed docks - would be great with a little boat. Nice walking and NO ONE here other than the camp hosts & their friends. All in all - good!

Amazing area and campground are small with decent space between campsites. But highway noise is horrible. Not as bad in night but during the day it can be ridiculous. I would never stay here again.

The good: Beautiful setting. My site was a short walk to the lake for a lovely swim. Gorgeous lake. Sites were well spaced away from neighbors.
The bad: site 21 sits RIGHT NEXT to a very busy highway. The noise did not stop, even at night. RV parking was narrow and uneven. Couldn't put out the slider or awning on my 25 ft class C. Impossible to level.
The worst: Hosts were absent upon my arrival. I drove around what I thought was the whole park and couldn't find my spot. After waiting 45 minutes in 98 degree heat the hosts finally showed up at their site. The lady was very confused and couldn't find my reservation. After a lengthy conversation we got it straightened out. My site was up a narrow road. The hosts assured me it wouldn't be a problem and that the they would be right up to help me back in. The site was on a turn in the road at a weird angle. It was very narrow. The hosts never did show up. If not for the kindness of my neighbor who helped me I'm not sure I could have done it on my own.
