Lake Manawa State Park

Maybe we just came at a bad time but the cops came for two different domestic abuse incidents at two different sites at two different times. It was a Sunday. I would not stay at this campground again. Only upside is the beautiful Lake and parks around the campground.

Well I camped out there a lot the last few years do to some hard times , and I tell you what never did I have trouble with the other campers and they never had any problems with me other then the fact they couldn't beat me at any of my made up camp fire drinking games , I just couldn't seem to please the young park rangers it was like they had it out for me every time I was there and it was sad because I really didn't do anything out of the ordinary but it seem like at 10:30 at night it was like you were in prison and trust me I Do know what that feels like my voice was louder then what my music ever was and at 10:30 it was quiet time at what I call Lake Manawa prison anywhere else I've been I've been able to have bonfires throughout the night people surrounded the fire drinking grilling chewing the fat but not there at this prison I wouldn't recommend anybody to camp there due to the fact of how the young Park Rangers or The wardens kids treated Me I could go on and on with all the issues that I had with the Park Rangers out there the many weeks I spent there but I'm glad to hear that this year the campground is no longer open maybe somebody has realized That you don't have to be Billy badass to run a peaceful enjoyable campground if you wanted quiet time at 10:30 maybe camping is not your thing stay at home and be peaceful In your own yard.

Is lake Manawa ever gonna open back up?? Not having it is sad. Love going camping there..
