Full hookups. Wifi at the site was usable. The resort's restaurant was good. Park management was friendly and helpful.
A good deal with Passport America discount.

We stumbled upon the Lone Fir after originally booking a site at the neighboring Cougar RV Park. We pulled in to Cougar RV, said, “Oh hell no” and pulled right back out! We went next door to the Lone Fir. Check in was quick and friendly. They have full hookups, WiFi and cable. There is a small hotel that is more boutique than your standard “hotel”. Jeremy, the owner showed us around and takes a great deal of pride in the customer experience. They have cabins on site as well as kayak and snowshoe rentals. There is a store in the area where you check in and Jeremy brings in some great equipment such as MSR snowshoes, Diamond ice axes, etc. We ate at their onsite restaurant and bar. We shared their burger with caramelized onions, bacon, cheddar, maple syrup on Parmesan bread as well as cheese curds. Whoa...so good! We would each take a bite, look at each other and shake our heads. Another plus at this place is that they are super gay friendly and love dogs! Jeremy mentioned they are bringing in hydrotherapy massage that will be next to the already existing in ground pool. Whether you are looking for a place to stay or a bite to eat, this place is great. We’ll be back!

This is a lovely, small campground that has a great restaurant. It's peaceful and quiet. Just an all around nice place to stay.

This place is small, clean, and quaint. I can see the draw and why it’s 5 star rated, however it’s not our style of camping. There’s zero privacy whatsoever in the RV park area, and it’s right beside the highway which is surprisingly noisy even at 5:30am.
Unfortunately, beforehand we didn’t realize the lack of privacy, the hwy noise, or the fact that the playground was closed due to covid (even though State law now allows it!) so it wasn’t great for us, with two small kids.
The good stuff:
-Wide site made it easy to back in with our 34’ rig, even with a bit of crowding from surrounding vehicles
-very friendly staff
-clean
-pool, playground, clubhouse (all closed currently)
-good WiFi
-close to Mt St Helens
-restaurant with craft beer! Even if a bit overpriced. We took the baby monitor and went for a pint, within sight of the RV! Awesome.
The other bad stuff:
-No cell service
-site wasn’t all that level

Great little RV park if it meets your needs! Clean, very friendly staff, online booking, and excellent cycling routes with big views. The husband is hoping to return to do some longer rides. Some things to note:
1) No Verizon coverage and very spotty free wi-fi. We were happy to have the break from the world but it would have been challenging if we needed to work.
2) The gorgeous lake is a 20 minute walk with 10 minutes on a 2 lane highway with small shoulder to walk on. I was a little nervous for me and the two dogs. It didn’t stop us from going multiple times, but not ideal.
3) Regarding privacy, we are new to RVing so, all RV parks seem low on privacy compared to tent sites separated by woods. This park didn’t feel any less private than any other park to us.
4) They have a cute restaurant with outdoor seating that is dog friendly!!! We didn’t eat there, but if we hadn’t brought food/stayed longer, we would have loved this option!

Nice park we came off season so no one was there. Wide rv spots is nice but not much privacy if it where busy. Restaurant has good food and nice lakes and mountains not far from the park. WiFi was very spotty and no phone service.

We have been boondocking a few nights and needed an RV park close to Ape Cave, so we could dump, have good showers, and use the power to top off the rig. It was a great decision. Since we love to RV in the off-season, this park only had one other RV in mid-October.
Check out our pictures of the site and grounds. We had fun playing with Bigfoot and got to see a young deer cruising around the grounds.
The restaurant was closed when we were there.
