Lake Blackshear Resort Golf Club sits in Southwest Georgia and borders five counties, and contains approximately 8,700 acres. The lake was created in 1930 by the damming of the Flint River to provide low-cost power to the citizens of Crisp County.

Lake Blackshear Resort has beautiful views of the lake. Cypress trees and Spanish moss dot the lake’s edges, creating a spectacular view from the resort. With the proximity to Georgia Veterans State Park and the SAM Shortline, this is a relaxing and memorable place to bring the family for a Georgia vacation.
