Willow Mountain Lodge is perfect for a restful retreat after a day of salmon or halibut fishing, hiking, 4-wheeling, sightseeing, or rafting. Willow Mountain Lodge is located in the Copper River Valley, on Willow Mountain, with spectacular views of the Wrangell and Chugach Mountains.You will wake up with a view of Willow Lake and Mts. Drum, Sanford, Wrangell, and Blackburn in the background. We are located on the Richardson Highway @ 28 miles south of Glennallen and 14 miles south of Copper Center. We are within @ 12 miles of Kenny Lake and @ 38 miles of Chitina. We are within 15 miles of Copper River and Klutina River where salmon fishing is the best in Alaska. The drive from our Lodge to Valdez is one of spectacular views of waterfalls, lakes, rivers, and Worthington Glacier. We are within a few hours drive of the historic copper mining town of Kennicott. There is so much to do and see in this most beautiful part of Alaska that you'll want to spend several days and then return year after year. In the mornings, your hosts, Kathryn and Terry Wedgeworth, will entice you with a delicious home-cooked breakfast which may be a country-style breakfast of biscuits, eggs, gravy, bacon or sausage or a lighter fare of gourmet pancakes with juices, coffee, or tea. Our breakfasts will get you off to a great start. Or if you prefer, and want to sleep in, we can provide muffins, coffee, tea, or juice to enjoy in the car as you travel to your next adventure.
