The unicycle on the tightrope, the ball that makes your hair stand up when you touch it, the spinning space tunnel that makes you feel like you're in 0 gravity... I can't choose my favorite part about this place. It's so fun, even as a grown up!
Really enjoy going to COSI. When I was a kid this really was the coolest place ever. It's floor after floor of hands on exhibits that seemingly never end. I remember leaving and always feeling like I had to come back right away.
Brought our kids 6,4, and 1 and just had time for the kid space upstairs. We were in the enclosed safe area over an hour having fun in the relaxed clean atmosphere. Outside COSI is a splash pad area and a small outdoor playground too. Parking is $6.
Adults or kid, either way you'll enjoy COSI. COSI is very hands-on, and is consistently ranked one of the best things to do in both Columbus and Ohio in general. If you're planning a weekend getaway to Columbus with or without a family, COSI should be on your list of places to visit.
I agree with Anna, the unicycle across a tightrope is worth the trip to COSI. really fun spot for grownups to go either with kids or as an alternative to going to grab drinks/dinner. Highly recommend
A great place for young minds to explore what science has to offer. There is so much to see and explore. My 9 and 12 year old boys took their time exploring and tinkering with all the gadgets they can get their hands on. My 14 year old bypassed son mangy exhibits and only looked for what he finds interesting. It’s an all day adventure If you want your kids to fully explore the entire exhibit.
Reserving your tickets online doesn’t mean you bypass check-in. You line up with the rest of paying customers that didn’t reserve tickets at the ticket line to get your paper wrist band. We did not park at their parking due to a long line of cars pulling in and so we parked at an open parking away from their building.
Came here for the first time as an adult with two kids and both my wife and I commented about wanting to come back…without the kids one day. That’s how good this place is.
There’s a little playground and green space in front of the building to play at as well, in case you want to let the kids get some energy out before loading up in the car.
A nice place to visit on a rainy day. Kids enjoy it and it can be busy at times. Area is always under construction so be aware of that. The play space is nice, but children who are in 2nd grade and above have their own separate space.
Meh. Definitely overpriced, and exhibits are mediocre at best. While the area for young children is nice, the rest of the place isn't anything special. Exhibits seem geared for adults or teens/tweets. Make the trip to Indianapolis for the Children's Museum instead, and skip this one.
My kids love it here! My 6 yr old loves all of the hands on areas and watching the different shows. My 2 yr old loves the toddler area where she can run around with other little ones! Definitely a great place to visit and worth buying a membership.
