A short hike to some great views, within '''[http://www.springsgov.com/Page.asp?NavID=3038 North Cheyenne Cañon City Park]'''.
Holy crow did we get steered wrong! The usual road to this lovely parking lot has a bridge OUT. So Google maps brings you up to Bear Creek area on 3-4 miles of unpaved and narrow winding roads and tight tunnels. And finally you reach a lot where trailheads are, but not a real or safe trail to the falls
Be warned 😳
You can drive all the way upto the lot to park by this falls which we loved. We aren't really a big hiking family. 😆 The drive is pretty long up a winding, curvy road on a mountain. Don't take an RV or trailer up this climb! There's no shoulder and no center line. The falls was a quick little walk. Very pretty. 😊
Road was closed to cars, walked the mile pulling a wagon with three kids, from visitor center to the address listed. Address lead to parking where a sign stated 2 miles to Helen Hunt Falls. Enjoyed the views, but going the additional two miles to the falls was unrealistic for us.
