“The home of Geyser Brewing Co!”
Geysers Brewing Co, formally Geysers on The Terrace, and before that known as the Bronze Boot, is located on the west strip of Cody adjacent to the Cody Night Rodeo. Prior to the summer of 1966, the Boot was operated in the Shoshone Canyon, a few hundred yards north of the present site, in what was originally the “Canyon Hotel”. Many years ago that area was famous as a stage stop and health resort. The famous De Maris springs were used by the Indians to cure and heal the sick and wounded. The pool, still located on the canyon, is fed by a pure 78 degree mineral spring, which flows 300 thousand gallons a day. In the early days the hospitality of the resort was enjoyed by William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody, when he stayed to swim and recuperate from his journeys with his world famous Wild West Shows. In 2005, Karl and Lynn Lampe purchased the building and began renovating. Opening in April of 2006 as a banquet facility, the building was brought back to life again. Numerous social events, such as weddings, class reunions and memorials graced the walls of this fine establishment. The building was called The Terrance, as it is placed upon a geological terrace overlooking the Shoshone River. As Cody continued to grow and the need for another restaurant developed, the banquet facility became that restaurant. With the addition of the bar Geysers on The Terrance was born featuring 21 micro brews on tap and an extensive wine list. Our culinary staff continues to satisfy our guests growing demands for distinctive foods, showcasing local product. As of the spring of 2013 Geysers on The Terrace is now the Geyser Brewing Company, having now added a micro-brewery to our list of accomplishments, featuring Geyser beers on tap.
