“the perfect photo-op”
Located at the Rio Grande National Forest, this Overlook facility is situated as a stop on the Silverthread Scenic Byway right along State Hiway 149. It offers a new restroom, picnic tables, ample paved parking for even larger vehicles, trails to the overlook, safety railings, and interpretive signs. It is handicap accessible, with a handicap trail to a high lookout spot. This makes a great rest stop and Photography Opportunity.
Absolutely outstanding! Easy to get to and worth the stop! This waterfall really puts out some water and is breathtaking
We went camping at the North Clear Creek Campground and we make sure not to missed seeing the North Clear Creek Falls. It was amazing seeing this waterfall. The water rapid and the water splash were truly extreme. It was beautiful!
We were there in June 2017. Beautiful area. Easy to get to and easy hikes all around. When you first arrive you wonder where the falls are as the area is open pasture with cows all around. The falls actually drop into a deep ravine you wouldn't expect to be there. Definitely worth the stop.
