San Luis State Park is located about 15 minutes west of the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve. The Park offers a nice location to view wildlife including many types of birds. When San Luis Lake is full of water, visitors can enjoy fishing, motor boating, sailing, windsurfing and other water sports.
