“covered bridge onsite!”
RV Park and Campsite. Of more than 600 covered historic bridges known to have been built in Indiana, 90 are still standing. Some of these still carry traffic while others are bypassed and a few have been moved to parks or memorials; five of our historic covered bridges are located on private property. We have one!

I was a little annoyed that they didn't pick up their phone on a busy labor day weekend, but their cute message assured me there were open spots available. We got there a bit late, but were able to call someone nearby to get us checked in. And $2 off for paying with cash! Anyway, the overall camp was very nice, but all the signs were a little off putting about not leaving children unattended and several signs in the bathroom with various demands. The owner did mention the last owners let the place get run down and it had a bad reputation previously, I suppose if signs help it stay clean, it's a good thing.
The spots were level with little picnic tables at each spot. Our site had a full hookup that worked great. There are also lots of shade trees and I noticed a whole bunch of pine trees and other little trees they've played recently. This place should be even more gorgeous when the trees grow up more in a couple years! There are showers and restrooms that were clean and seemed to be stocked regularly. There is also laundry on site, three washers, three dryers. But be advised, it is only open until 9 or so and then they lock the door. It was a perfect little stop for the night and I'd stay there again if I happened to be in Cloverdale, Indiana again!
The message on the phone is great. Service was prompt. Site was nice, Friendly neighbors. Great place for a short stop!
Gorgeous facility and reasonable rates! Nice and quiet. Has a pond, so you’ll need to keep the little ones close. There’s plenty of tall, shady trees to enjoy. Friendly staff and very helpful.
very friendly, very hospitable, just loved it.
I thought price for only water & elect where a bit high, this campground is an old camp that host children camps during the summer. it was highly maintained and groomed. the facilities were clean. gravel roads/sites were mostly level. I did find our site a little tight to get into, I had to back up and pull in to get in straight. Overall, the park was very clean, quite and remote. No lights to spoil viewing the stars at night or hinder the light of a campfire.

We arrived late in the night. Their phone message said if we were getting the message they had room. We arrived and there was a note on the door saying to call the number written before doing anything. So I did. And it was a very sleepy sounding man. I know it was late. The conversation went...
Me: hi we are here wanting a RV spot for the night
Him: we are closed
Me: ok do you know of any place nearby that may accept late arrivals
Him: you can go to a truck stop
Me: I have an infant that needs air conditioning (74 degrees and 87% humidity)
Him: oh... you can drive around behind the office to turn around to go
AWFUL HOSPITALITY
Not my first choice but they are open in February. 30 amp only, pedestal is almost on the ground with no breaker. site not level but long enough that I didn't have to unhook. Weird check in. Call main number, message says they are open. When you arrive, there is another number on the office to call to check in. Guy showed up after 10 minutes. Acted like I was bothering him, not rude but seemed not happy to have a customer.

Quiet in a woodland. Was a very peaceful place. Mandatory 8::0 PM check in. They don’t answer their phone but did return a call. I would stay there again provided we can get there before 8:00 pm.

The grounds themselves are beautiful: wooded with clear paths and a bridge over a creek. This is a family run business and there is a cross prominently displayed on the front sign. Check in was easy with clear directions to the office and what to do if nobody was in the office. There was a price break of 5 dollars if you paid in cash ($38 vs $43) and they only supply water and 30 amp, plus access to shower facilities. The park is relatively close to the freeway but not close enough that there is ANY noise. I would definitely stay here again. The woman who checked me in was friendly and professional.

The campground is up for sale. Service was friendly and grounds and sites with electric and water. The dump station is not operational and there is a $20 fee sign perhaps for outside dumping though it’s not clear. The restrooms were nice but the men’s toilets were dirty and both needed some TLC. We have never stayed here before so maybe it was a bad weekend and it only takes a couple of slovenly campers to make the other campers uncomfortable. It was quiet and easy access from 70.
