“Peaceful camping in Eastern Tennessee”
The convenience of I-75 is just beyond your campsite, but you'd hardly know it at this peaceful campground in eastern Tennessee. Even the biggest rigs can set up here with ease, thanks to easy-on, easy-off access and large, level pull thru sites. A new Deluxe Cabin, Camping Cabins and tent sites (including Deluxe) are available. Enjoy the spacious swimming pool, 12x12-foot wading pool for toddlers, exercise room, expanded playground, volleyball, horseshoes and cornhole. A full kitchen and covered pavilion are great for groups, with picnic tables seating up to 80. Visit the Museum of Appalachia, only a mile away. The pristine beauty of Norris Lake and the renowned trout-fishing waters of the Clinch River are five miles away. You're 15 minutes from the University of Tennessee and the Knoxville metro area. The Great Smoky Mountains are 40 minutes away. Pool: May 10 - October 15. Max pull thru: 75 feet. Your hosts: Debbie & Mark Cunningham.
This is a nice campground. Gravel roads and sites but they are wider than most giving more room for larger RVs. Sites are still close just like most KOAs. Setup of picnic table and fire ring not particularly convenient to site. Our door opened on our neighbors sewer hose. Staff were very friendly. Nearby Museum of Appalachia was an unexpected surprise. Great Mexican restaurant and grill nearby...Habaneros. We would stay again if passing through the area.
