The Toketee Lake Campground features the North Umpqua River, which pauses at Toketee reservoir providing a secure home for a wide variety of wildlife. Here beavers and otters make their homes. Great blue heron and kingfishers are joined in fall and winter by ducks, geese, and bald eagles. The Toketee Ranger Station located two miles away on the east side of the lake offers information and emergency medical services. Facilities include picnic tables, fireplaces, a boat ramp and vault toilets. Directions from Roseburg: Travel east on Highway 138 and turn north onto road 34, the west access to Toketee Ranger Station (Diamond Lake District office). Turn left at the bottom of the hill and cross a concrete bridge on the right. Continue another 1.5 miles to the campground entrance on the right. The campground is 60 miles from Roseburg.
