“"luxuriate in peacefulness"”
The park was built and opened in 1987 with 50 sites, and then built on with 40 more sites completing the project in 2002. Each site has full hook-up along with wireless Internet. We are especially proud of the large site that accommodate 40-45 foot RV’s that have a cement patio.

The park has very long pull through sites. However, you share utilities and, therefore, share an outside lawn. But you have a decent separation because of the length of the sites. Sites are fairly level gravel with grass between and a concrete patio with a picnic table. All sites are FHU. You are guided to your site so you park correctly. The park was very quiet and the back section (where we were) was mainly overnighters. The park WiFi worked well until the park filled up in the evening. The park is few miles from the highway. Clear Lake and the town are right near the campground. Mason City is a larger town with all the box stores and only 9 miles.

Full hook ups in a quiet area. Easy and quick drive to town. Spaces are long pull-throughs for 2 campers, back-to-back but offset so you're not really in the same space. Grass spaces, fire rings, picnic tables for each site. State park near by along with a few playgrounds/parks for kids. Worked out well for us with our 40' 5th wheel and F350.

Found this by the lake jewel when we just needed an overnight. It was a bit off the highway but not hard to get to.
First thing Hubs said was let’s stay a week! So green, so close access to the lake. Easy long pull thru sites with picnic table on concrete slab. It was very quiet & shady. We didn’t use any other services but noted the camp host greet us before we even stopped after payment, we were escorted to the site. Quick & easy!!
Special note: cash or check only.

This is a great find! The owners were friendly, the campsites were level, spacious, and pull through. Good Verizon cell service. Sites right next to corn fields for the real Iowa experience. Town was a 5 min drive and the lake is within 10 min walking distance. If we didn’t have Somewhere to be we could’ve been happy for a week.

We travel often on I35 to Minnesota and found this nice RV park this past weekend. Located off I35, a few miles to the west. Very large and wide pull thu site with full hook ups. Mike and Shelley were very nice and accommodating. We arrived after 8 pm and they waited for us. Quiet and located near Clear Lake. There are not many restaurants around but we did have pizza delivered to the park. This is not a resort but it is very clean and well kept. We will return.

Nicest folks you’ll ever meet. Pull-Throughs are huge about 80 feet. Full amenities and hook ups and a beautiful setting in the trees with open areas as well. There is not enough good to say about these folks as they are so welcoming and kind. Very close to Clear Lake. They even hold a 9:30 AM Sunday nondenominational church service for those of the faith. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Stayed at Oakwood RV Park on a Friday and Saturday night in Oct. 2021. Were met as we arrived by a super nice couple who welcomed us to the park, collected our camping fee and then led us to our site. The site was super large with full hookups including cable TV. We had a clear shot with our satellite dish so we did not use the cable. The park was in a beautiful location with a soy bean field adjacent and trees showing full fall colors. Site was very level. There was even an old wooden church in the park and it is my understanding that services are held each Sunday morning. I would consider this park a jewel and would definitely return.

Excellent
Very clean, very courteous, and great park! I don’t usually write reviews but I was impressed with the friendly park owners/ staff and it was just a very pleasant stay.
Very nice RV park, well spaced, very long pull through full hook up sites. The staff was very helpful.
