“eclectic, farm-inspired tapas”
Mita’s, the second restaurant from James Beard Nominated, Chef Jose Salazar is named after his Colombian grandmother, his “Mita.” The beautiful, 130 seat restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati at the corner of Fifth and Race streets on the ground floor of the 84.51 building. Mita’s eclectic, farm-inspired menu focuses on both the traditional and modern foods and beverages of Spain and Latin America – with tapas, ceviches, cured hams, cheeses and large plates. The wine program emphasizes Spain and the Old World. Our staff invites you to enjoy a fun, relaxed time with friends and family or a quick tapa and sangria in our large comfortable bar / lounge area. If you are looking for a truly unique dining experience, the team at Mita’s will deliver just that – with our warm and sincere hospitality and creative and delicious food, you will be sure to fall head over heels with Mita’s.
