Really awesome rooftop bar, which makes this place. Wooden with outdoor lights... the whole nine yards. Getting a seat up there is very tough on the weekends though so be warned. It's named after the first cannery on the east coast. Canned beers / raddlers are their specialty. Can't wait till they get a good/better cider selection to match. Read more

I'm a big fan of Krueger's. It's a nice change of pace from the occasionally foofy or pretentious restaurant scene at OTR, and their Cuban sandwich is to die for. They hang their hat on their sausages, although no matter what you've got to try their beer cheese -- it's made with Rhinegeist Cougar beer and kicks butt. Read more

So you can almost always get a seat here, which normally is a positive/negative thing, but given that the food here is really good (one of the best burgers in the city) and it's in the heart of OTR, I'm always surprised it isn't seen as a "staple" of the area. Read more
