“A Hyde Park Legend”
Arthur's is a long-time institution on Hyde Park Square. The walls are painted with the faces of regulars, and the back patio is always a delightful place to catch a meal. Arthur's is also proud to only serve local beers on tap. Come in on Sunday through Tuesday for Burger Madness. You won't be let down. The owners describe Arthur's history: For over half a century, Arthur’s has been a neighborhood staple in Cincinnati’s renowned Hyde Park. Our location on Edwards Road was originally named Allen E. Bradford Restaurant in 1947. It transitioned to Apke’s Grill the next year, then Art’s in 1956. Finally, in the 1970’s, Arthur’s became what it is today currently owned by us – Susan Selzer, Joe Santorelli, and B.J. Hughes. We began our careers at Arthur’s in the early 1990’s as bussers and servers while we were in college. All three of us eventually ended up managing the restaurant/bar for many years before we decided to buy the establishment from our, then, bosses.
Great burgers. I've only been once, and it was only because the sushi place next door was closed, but I remember it having a chill atmosphere and great burgers.
Arthur's is absolutely solid in all respects. Their burgers are big and delicious, and as Brandon mentioned an excellent deal on Burger Madness--a special discount price for burgers and fixings on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. Arthur's should be your go-to neighborhood pub, and it certainly doesn't hurt that it's right around the corner from a Graeter's ice cream shop.
Burger Madness! Above average burgers, and their Burger Madness deal is one of the best in town. I'm a huge fan of their commitment to local beer, too. Their outside space is pretty great when it's nice out, otherwise get there early if you don't want a long wait.
Consistently good burgers. There's a fantastic outdoor dining area in the back; ask to be seated there on beautiful days. If you have toddlers, there's more room in the outdoor dining area to manipulate the stroller.
really good burgers and a pretty great selection of draft beers. there is also a mural that stretches across the entire wall opposite the bar that can keep you entertained for your meal!
Really good burgs - I even had a black bean veggie burger here that did that trick. They've got very affordable pitches too of "house beer".
Lots of beers, and the best mozz sticks I've ever had.
Burgers are clearly worth talking about at Arthur's! I really enjoy the patio during nice weather. The patio is pretty small and typically packed, but if you post up at the bar to wait on a seat you'll be glad you did. The selection and quality of appetizers are great and the beer selection is plentiful. What's really unique is one of the interior walls is painted with regular locals that used to frequent this place back in the day.
