“more than a cafe”
Allyn’s is the kind of place you look for when you’re on vacation. It has a laidback and fun atmosphere and serves food you might find if you were on the coast. Allyn’s menu is very diverse, with items like Mexican enchiladas, Cajun catfish platter, alligator, jambalaya, wings and St. Louis ribs. There is a section on the menu for “Blackened Thangs,” like blackened yellowfin tuna or rib eye. Allyn's is now offering a late-night menu seven days a week, from 10 p.m.-midnight. Live Music! Open mics! Awesome musicians! See the new and old talent for yourself and bring your guitar!
Allyn's is a fun little place with a wide variety of food. I wouldn't say the food is great, but it isn't bad. The staff is really nice, and it has a very relaxed atmosphere.
NIce variety of cajun food and the bar is a fun/comfortable setting. The patio is a nice place to grab a bite and a few drinks when the weather is nice.
I had wings here, but I think Mexican food is what they're known for. It wasn't crowded when I went, and I thought the beer was expensive, but they had a large selection.
