Smale Riverfront Park

This park is gorgeous. Recently (as in last 5 yrs) completed by the riverfront. A great place to run when you're in town and plenty of slides and swings and unconventional climbing structures to keep kiddos occupied. Watch fire works here on the 4th or head down to juggle a soccer ball when it's warm. Clean and well kept with lights at night.

It's pretty awesome already but I'll get really excited in a few years when more of this develops. This has a lot of potential and I sure hope it gets realized.

This park and surrounding area is stunning, especially at night. Situated between the two ball parks and a quick walk across the Ohio River on the Roebling bridge took us to the Kentucky side. Very unexpected and beautiful.

They've done some incredible development in this park over the past few years. It's very family friendly with tons of fountains, swings, and cool playgrounds for your kids. There's always tons of people running through here as well!

indoor carousel is awesome, the fountains are great, definitely worth checking out if you are at the banks for a game or dinner

Smale is a fun park, but I would say the highlight is the indoor Carousel. It cost a few dollars, and can be crowded at times, but it's a nice break from the hot summer sun.

One of my favorite places in the city. Great place for a walk with that surgical someone, with the family, or for a run. Fountains for kids to play in, gigantic swings overlooking the river, a small labyrinth, several play areas, and excellent views of the river and downtown. Walking distance to several Restaurants and bars.
