“camp in a park-like setting of shade trees”
Though this award-winning campground spreads over a quiet, park like setting of shade trees, it's only 15 minutes from the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. We can accommodate the largest of rigs. Several types of cabins and lodges are also an option. Connect with the city's cowboy legacy at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum or Stockyards City., Frontier City Amusement Park and White Water Bay are always, fun places for the whole family. While in town, take a canal barge ride in Bricktown, pay your respects at the Oklahoma City National Memorial, stop at Bass Pro Shops or visit any of the other exciting museums and shops the city has to offer. Or you can just spend a few quiet days at the campground. Ride the hay wagon, roast marshmallows, let your pet run free in our Kamp K-9 Park, stroll the 1-mile nature trail or enjoy a family scavenger hunt., Hope to see you soon!
This KOA is beautiful. I added a few photos. The cover photo of those cabins does no justice to how lovely and peaceful it is here. Country setting close to all the city amenities. Beautiful pool and playground for the kids. Let them run and explore. I could spend a week here and just relax.
This KOA is really nice. It’s easy to find, not too far from the highway but not in the middle of the city. The spaces for fifth wheels and RVs were good sized. Good WiFi. Lots of grassy areas where you can take your dog on leash. Full hookups. I plan to save this place for future trips!
We have stayed here in a travel Trailer & there nice cabins, wonderful country setting just minutes from Downtown/Bricktown area, we will stay here again.
Great place to stay! We only stayed one night as we were driving cross country. Great late night check-in with easy instructions. We did a full hook up with a Class C RV. Nice outdoor area where you can walk the dogs. Would definitely stay here again.
Very nice KOA! Only stayed 2 nights but I would recommend it to everyone. No highway noise like the two previous campgrounds we stayed. Sites are clean, level and had a picnic table and a very nice grill/fire pit. Each site has some trees making it very comfy and a nice nature feel. They are stoned with crush and run which is ok, gravel type stone would have been better but it definitely worked. Will come again if we are back this way on future road trips. 5 STARS *****
