“The friendliest place in town!”
We're one of the most unchanged restaurants in all of America, serving only handmade food. We've also been featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. The restaurant itself was an old trolley car that ran the streets of Cheyenne from 1869-1912. In 1926 they placed it on the foundation it currently sits on and turned it into a restaurant. Everything is the same today as it was in 1926 from the walls to the counter tops, etc.
I heard this place was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, so we drove around Cheyenne looking for a quaint little diner. We ended up finding a seedy motel with a diner attached, similar to 99% of other creepy motel/diner/truck stops in America.
Great breakfast spot
Good food, and fun to be in the trolly converted to the diner
People are very friendly and the portions are large. We both needed to box the leftovers for later.
Definitely on our revisit list
Also lots of great historic pictures on the walls and tables etc
Wonderful breakfast. I lived in Cheyenne for 4 years and never knew this place existed. I've been coming back here on vacation and finally found it. I wish I had always known about it. The portions are big and they are so good.
