Susan Creek Nature Preserve

223 acres. Frontage of nearly a mile on Susan Creek. A mix of habitat types including wet meadows, black-ash swamp, cedar thickets, hardwoods and ponds. A part of the scenic corridor along US-31, this preserve lies adjacent to the 55-acre Taimi Hoag preserve belonging to the Little Traverse Bay Bands of the Odawa. Over 1-1/2 miles of trails. The Little Traverse Wheelway is nearby. Parking area is at the green gate on the south side of US-31 four miles east of Charlevoix.
