“The best cocktails on King Street”
Proof is an intimate craft cocktail bar with an extensive wines by the glass list and a real good beer list.
They had some really good stuff on the menu here, with ingredients you don't normally see in cocktails, plus classic drinks and beer. One of our drinks had coconut water in it and was delicious. But they also have unusual stuff that's really, really out there. My drink had pickled boiled peanuts, bourbon and Mexican Coke in it, which was an odd drink to say the least-- it was served with a spoon to get the peanuts out.
A resolutely basic drinking den, Proof distinguishes itself with exceptional renditions of classic cocktails and a boiled peanut hummus that pairs well with its impressive selection of craft beers.
