“A dynamic and seasonal menu”
Sourcing ingredients from the Lowcountry's finest farmers and fisherman, Chef Craig Deihl serves a dynamic and seasonal menu both spotlighting and elevating regional fare. The menu is complemented by an expansive 4,500 bottle wine wall. Cypress, housed in a historic two-story building on East Bay Street in downtown Charleston, S.C., opened in 2001. Led by two-time James Beard nominee Craig Deihl, the team at Cypress uses Lowcountry ingredients to showcase Deihl’s signature style.
Cypress chef Craig Deihl is one of only six culinary artisans nationwide to have claimed a Good Food Award in all four years of the program's existence: His charcuterie is the highlight of this posh downtown restaurant.
