“We aim to please”
Our story begins in 1952, in the small fishing village of Mola di Bari, in Puglia - the region best known as the heel of Italy's "boot." There, Antonio Vetrati met and married Maria Innamorato. With his family held close to his heart, & with little money, no plans and speaking only a few words of English, Antonio traveled to the United States and found work in a New Jersey pizzeria. There he rediscovered his passion for the food of his childhood and the fond memories of watching his mother in the kitchen preparing family meals. Antonio opened his first pizzeria and was soon able to send for his family. Maria, 10 year old Paolo and 8 year old Arianna. Since then, 25 years have passed - and five successful restaurants are still pleasing the people of New Jersey. With Maria's recipes and Paolo and his wife Liza's love for the cuisine of their native Italy, the family legacy will continue here in Historic Downtown Chandler.
