“dine in historic elegance”
Innkeeper Jeanne Goetzinger invites you to dine in historic elegance by the 1890s wishing well or fireplace. Spend a night in the cozy B&B and swap lies in the Longbranch Saloon! The Inn was Headquarters for General Nelson Miles during the Wounded Knee incident of 1890-91 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The inn features private baths, individual heating and air conditioning, cable TV, wireless internet and direct-dial telephones. Major credit cards are welcome and off-street parking is available. Pets are welcome in specified rooms. Gift Certificates are available. Inn is available for private parties, meetings, weddings, and receptions. It was reported in the Chadron Democrat in 1890 that "hotel laurels will have to be brushed up when the cuisine of the Hotel Chadron is once more in full blast." Times have changed since 1890, but the same could be reported of the Olde Main Street Inn today. We proudly offer to you the diverse menu in our dining room, which includes prime rib, a catch of the day, buffalo, lamb, and an assortment of homemade chilies, soups, and desserts, to mention just a few of the items.
