Ceredo Historical Society Museum

The Ceredo Historical Society (founded in 1973) operates the Ceredo Museum and the Ceredo-Kenova Railroad Museum. The Ceredo Petroglyph: The largest and best preserved petroglyph in the United States. Collection also includes arrow heads, fossils, shells, and an Indian grinding stone.Civil War Collection: Letters, requisitions and treatment book from Camp Pierpoint in Ceredo. Z. D. Ramsdell’s saddle and diary for 1886. Cannon balls and mini balls.Micro Film: The Ceredo Advance newspapers from 1881 to the publication’s end in 1936. Reader/Printer available.
