We were pleasantly surprised to find such a nice campground close to Colorado Springs. It's compact with little space between sites but it has a lot of large shade trees and the sites are nicely situated so you don't feel like you are right on top of your neighbor. The owners live on site and are very friendly, as are the people camping here. The wifi is wonderful (the best in any campground we have been to). There is a nice (heated) pool, fishing pond, creek along the back of the property, game room, and camp store. They even offer breakfast for $5.00. The bathrooms and showers are clean and there is a nice laundry room as well. The dump station is little tight but accessible. Great phone reception if you have a booster because the campground is in a valley. The only downside to this campground is the road noise.

This is a good central location to Colorado Springs and woodland park. It is right off the highway so easy access but oh so noisy. We didn’t even get our chairs out because of the noise.
Also if you don’t have children then this is not the place. The pool, pond and playground are located in the center of the RV park and it’s pretty loud and active. But if you have kids it’s a blast for them!
It’s not the cleanest park but not the dirtiest.
Full hook ups with good spacing and bushes and trees for privacy. Gravel and pretty level with a little help.
WiFi was pretty weak at times but we watched tv.

We are on a cross country trip and stayed here for a few days while we explored the Colorado Springs area. The first site we were in was 49 - this site was horribly unlevel and a pathway from the tent area to the office/pool/bathrooms. We had a constant stream of people walking right thru our campsite. The next morning we were able to move to site 56 - nice and level and much quieter!! If you have a large Class A I would caution about camping here. The campground is pretty tight. There were a couple in there, but one of them had a tough time getting out. This is also a campground that caters to families so expect a lot of kids. Overall, we really enjoyed and would stay again

I really loved this park. It's the only RV park I have ever stayed in where I had blazin' fast wifi - I could stream Netflix and everything! Unheard of.

The good stuff: location is great, right near Woodland Park and Colorado Springs. There was a good dog park maybe 15 minutes' drive away, and easy access to everything you could need. The owners were so nice and facilities seemed great, though the pool was closed for the season when I stayed so I can't speak to that. There's even a game room with old-school arcade games. Fastest wifi I've ever seen in an RV park - this could have partly been due to lower crowds, but the park was still probably 1/3 full in late September.

The main drawback is the highway noise. I couldn't hear it when I was in my rig back in site 40 (which is an awesome site right by the pond and kind of tucked away in the back, though a bit tight, so forget it if you have opposing slides), but I could hear it basically everywhere in the park. If you're looking at a map when booking, know that the highway is on the side where the entrance is, so plan accordingly and try to stay further back into the park where it's quieter.

One thing to note re: access is that the entrance to the park really sneaks up on you. You don't have much time to brake before you have to turn and drive down a steep hill to the campground, so just be aware and take it slow as you approach your turn!

Overall I loved it and would definitely come back!

Here is a campground for people who don’t like camping. It resembles an apartment complex with a community pool. I normally boondock but had trouble finding service nearby so I splurged due to the favorable WiFi reviews. Wrong. I couldn’t crack 1mb down at best, that’s when I got anything. There was often no internet at all and I got bumped off frequently.

Maybe you don’t care. If not, you’ll enjoy constant highway noise. You can literally see cars and trucks whiz by throughout the night. There’s nowhere to walk either. They maximize occupancy by placing sites in every nook of the camp, so you can’t even walk in a loop without going through people’s camps. Also the creek is private property and the campground abuts residential backyards. Man they must hate this place. I sure did. Bought four nights and left a day early since I couldn’t work on their WiFi.

We stayed here while exploring the area. A bit crowded but had friendly neighbors. We had axle difficulty and had to extend our stay an extra night. We depended on the hosts for phone calls to and from Airstream to get a tech out. They went above and beyond in helping us. That alone is worth 5*. We will be forever grateful for their kindness and helpfulness and if in the area again will stay here. We passed the driveway a couple of times. We would recommend a larger sign.

There aren't many great options for paid RV camping in Colorado Springs. This RV park attempts to give sites some space and charm unlike most of the other place we saw. There is a house in the center that houses all amenities including a nice pool, playground, bathrooms, and laundry. There is no sewer at any sites, just electric and water - a dishwashing station, fish cleaning station and dump station at the corner of the house are clean and serviceable. Wifi works really well, my kids streamed You Tube without issue. Flatness of sites depends on your site, we started in 74 which is a very flat pull through, then moved to 50 (so we could extend our stay) which is less flat - we got just to level using all our jack pads. Owners are very nice and the Duck theme really adds a fun touch! There is a mascot duck (currently named Gary, who happens to lay eggs) that the kids loved watching and interacting with, and a huge loveable dog named Tug. This is slightly out of town but very easy to get into Colorado springs, you are as close to the Pike's Peak drive as you can get! Definitely check out the Pickle Shack, the pickles and olives were delicious!

Note their sign has broken so watch the road carefully, you might miss it!

One star deducted for age of bathrooms/laundry - we chose not to use either but they weren't horrible... just not sparkling clean.

We camped here 9/12/20- 9/18/20. Great campground to stay at while visiting the area. Check in was fast and easy. Campground have W/E at sites. Dump station is on the property. This campground have a game room and laundry. The weekends can be a little crazy but settles down during the weekday. We had to use the booster to get better cell signal.

The staff here is awesome. We had inadvertently booked a electric/water site rather than a full hookup and they quickly resolved the issue. The site wasn’t particularly scenic, but some of the sites closer to Fountain Creek looked beautiful.

The restrooms and showers were clean, and the office/store was well stocked. If you don’t get a full hookup, there’s a dump station next to the main building.

Access is a bit odd - coming from the East you have to do a U-turn. Once you’re at the exit, there’s a steep grade down to the campground.

We thought there would be road noise from Highway 24 but it was barely noticeable. The location was perfect for visiting Garden of the Gods, Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, and Manitou Springs.

We stayed here passing through wanting to go to garden of the gods the next morning. The sites are clean but it’s right next to the highway and you have road noise all night long
