“make gorditas not war”
The Little Diner on the Texas-New Mexico border has been serving specialty, made-from-scratch gorditas since 1977. Originally opened by Irene Gallegos 35 years ago, the family restaurant had a strong following after only five years of being in business. Today, you can find Lourdes Pearson continuing to carry on the legendary reputation of the Little Diner after purchasing the restaurant in the mid-1990’s from her mother, Irene. With its vast reputation for quality and great service first established by Irene and carried through by Lourdes, many well known celebrities have made it through the Little Diner’s doors. Rave reviews have been featured in the El Paso Times, Dallasnews.com, Upper Valley Weekly, and a number of popular travel magazines. We also are a tortilla factory. Our tortillas are world famous!
