“live to camp, camp to live”
Camp in spectacular and peaceful Bryce Valley, 12 miles from the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park and nestled between the scenic cliffs of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. After settling in, pull out the chairs and watch the sunset light up the plateaus of this national monument. Plan to stay several days or more - and use Cannonville/Bryce Valley KOA as your base camp - so you'll have enough time to explore all of the majestic places in the area. Nearby attractions include Kodachrome Basin State Park, Grosvenor Arch, Willis Creek Slot Canyon, Red Canyon, Scenic Byway 12 (an All-American Road) and hundreds of miles of quiet back roads. Your KOA staff can show you the best places to hike, mountain bike, fish, horseback ride or take a leisurely drive. Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 65 feet. Pets: Maximum of (2) dogs per site, (1) dog in pet-friendly cabin.
Good place to stay. Facilities clean but above average price. Staff very helpful in getting to the best places in Bryce and for hiking. Downside was very poor wifi while you're out of 3G coverage area. Regular power outages are to be expected.
We stayed here after stopping at the Ruby Inn Campground which was one big puddle and muddy after recent rains. Drove on down the road to this KOA and was glad we did. We stayed in one of the sites upfront (site 8) and had some grass and the large gravel kept water from puddling up in our site. The laundry and bathrooms were very clean and up to date. There is a nice swimming pool and small playground. For our needs the WiFi was very good and we picked up more over-the-air stations than the campgrounds’ info listed. If you are parked in one of the sites at the back of the campground, the sites are on a hill but appeared to be level and are closer together. We will stay here again if we’re ever in the area.
