The Colosseum's primary function is an ice skating arena. Home of the state champion Calumet High School hockey team. The Colosseum plays also hosts the senior league hockey team and many junior hockey games and tournaments are held throughout the winter. When there isn't hockey being played, the arena is open for open skating to the public.
