“Overlooking scenic Winery Hill”
Ste. Chapelle Winery is named for the beautiful La Sainte Chapelle, or Saints Chapel, built by King Louis IX during the 13th Century in Paris. From atop the aptly named Winery Hill, Ste. Chapelle overlooks the fertile orchards and farmland of the famed Snake River Valley in the region of Southwestern Idaho known as Sunny Slope. The valley’s high altitude vineyards, which enjoy long daylight hours, warm summer days and crisp evenings, supply Ste. Chapelle with the superior grapes for its award-winning wines. Ste. Chapelle produces the widest variety of wines in Idaho, including: dry whites and dry reds (Chardonnay, Dry Gewurztraminer, Dry Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah); soft/sweeter wines (Riesling, Special Harvest Riesling, Soft White, Soft Rose, Soft Red and Soft Huckleberry); sparkling wines (Brut and Riesling); and dessert wines (Ice Wine Cabernet Franc, Ice Wine Riesling, Late Harvest Cabernet Franc and Late Harvest Riesling) from the finest Idaho vineyards.
