Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 10, 2020Nice park near the highway and between the two lakes with great access to both. The sites near the road (and Burger King views) are noisy due to the road being right there. The camp ground is very clean and you can tell the DNR team has taken great pride in enforcing the rules and upkeep.
The sites are a bit odd. Our site, 69, was a pull-thru that was impossible to pull through due to a tree being smack dab in the middle, but with our rig it wasnt a problem. Some sites state "up to 35 foot trailers" like 73 which we had family on. There is no way a 35 foot rig would fit, so keep that in mind.
Overall great bike trails, boat docks, and a playground the kids loved. Not rustic at all, but depends on what you are there for!

This is my first stay at this State campground and it is a nice place except for abnormally loud vehicles. If someone were to put a muffler shop in Cadillac and they enforce a noise ordinance someone would make a killing. I mean I am sitting here Saturday night and it’s one loud vehicle after another.
Two beautiful lakes on either side. Nice grounds for all family members and Nice friendly campers. Did I mention how loud the vehicles are?
I’ll try it again in 2021 and give it another chance But the loud vehicles kill the evenings and night enjoyment.
