Tule Lake

This is a beautiful lake with lots of water fowl and other birds. We drove down for the day in search of Bald Eagles and were not disappointed. At one point we saw 8-9 flying in the air and sat and watched one finish a meal on top of an electrical pole. I would totally recommend the auto tour through the lake to get some great views of the many birds in the area. Be prepared this time of year for wind and colder temperatures. It was around 40 degrees, but the wind does just cut right through you if you are not prepared.
