Unexpected nice ~ don’t pass this one by
Most recent stay was 7/31/16 / 8/01/16 - I'm "late" in posting my review ~ We camp in a "Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area
Journey version ~ not your typical KOA [much better]. Off the interstate so it was quiet no road noise at all. 1 of the better KOA’s we’ve stayed at ~ we were directly across from restroom/shower/laundry building. Very impressed w/restroom-showers. Very clean and updated w/modern fixtures. Showers had rubber mats when you exit the stall & were in a separate private room w/small bench in changing-dressing area. Only CON was bench very narrow [small] becuz inside area of room too compact plus no hooks and shelves in shower and in communal sink area for your clothes-towels-& stuff all necessities that a camper needs
Campground itself very tidy, neat, and maintained. All roads and site pads have gravel, but no potholes and all level. Sites are wider/larger than most KOA’s we’ve stayed at w/good shade at most sites, plus some upgraded sites have cement patios w/BBQ grill and outdoor patio furniture easily accommodates the big rigs. Sparkling clean swimming pool, cabins for rent, separate tent area on the grass and under shade trees.
Stayed one night , quite place nice and clean bathroom and showers , sites too close together was my only complaint
Very clean, sites are generously sized. We had site backed up to creek with very nice view. Highly recommend!
Nice little spot to stay for a night. We tent camped by the creek (Tent Site #3) and it was great listening to the creek bubble as we fell asleep.
Super clean & organized stop on our way home from the Tetons! The owners are kind, helpful, and welcoming. We wish we could have stayed longer!
Great amenities, convenient location, super friendly staff! Highly recommend!
Very nice and a wonderful team.
Ray, working in the registration office, has been the nicest customer service person we've experienced on our cross-country road trip. We spent one night on a beautiful back-in site with a creek running behind us and a view of the mountains. The downtown Buffalo area is charming, helpful, and kind. A kamping kitchen made it easy to wash our dishes, which was a nice added bonus. Would stay here again - and now would also consider other KOA's. Before this we had sworn off "resort style" camping, but this setting was natural enough to feel rustic while still benefitting from the amenities.
We are only here for 1 night but the friendly reception at the front counter was lovely. Very easy sites to get into, amenities very clean.
