“little known waterfall secret”
O Kun de Kun Falls is the wildest of several scenic falls in Ontanagon County. If you are looking for a nice hike and a chance to get away from crowds and fences, O Kun de Kun Falls is a must see. One of the few plunge falls around Lake Superior. This little-publicized waterfall is a real treat for hikers. It's reached by a 1.3-mile segment that goes through a tall pine forest, passing along the way dramatic undercut rock ledges and an unnamed waterfall that lets hikers go under the ledge and look out through the falling water.
Nice walk in though in early June there were still mud spots. Falls were beautiful and there is plenty of rock to hang out on if you want sun.
