Tickets can be purchased at Dewey Short Visitor Center near the dam or at Ride the Ducks at Hwy 76 & Green Mtn Drive. The dam is actually located on Hwy 165 near the intersection with Hwy 265. Because of Homeland Security, the dam has not given tours for the last 7 years but started the tours again on July 2. Tickets have to be purchased in advance ($10 adult, $5 child age 6-11). Children under 6 are not admitted.
