Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on July 01, 2023We stayed here in mid-October and really enjoyed the resort. We found the entire staff to be friendly and helpful. The resort was very well maintained and the campsites are a decent size, with most of them in partial shade from all the trees on the property. There was a nice mix of seasonal to short-term campsites. The pool and hot tub were clean and the new splash pad for the kids looked like a lot of fun. The free wi-fi worked great, and we were able to stream video no problem. This may be the result of our campsite being near the main office. I'm not sure how well it worked further out into the campgrounds. The bathhouse was reasonably clean, but most of the doors on the toilet stalls did not lock. Also, the changing area of the showers could use additional hooks for hanging towels and clothes.
The campground issues plastic bracelets when you check in and requires you to wear them throughout the stay. The bracelets open the front gate and are used to charge purchases at the campground. I overheard some people complaining about the bracelets, but I did not have an issue with wearing one. I just made it loose enough so I could slide it off when I was at my campsite, and then slide it back on when I was walking around the campground.
Odetah is fairly large and so the sites vary quite a bit. Some are located close to a main highway, so there is traffic noise in that part of the campground. Other sites are more remote, but are uphill, or a 10 minute walk to the pool or the beach. The next time we stay here, I think I will make my reservations over the phone, so I can describe the type of site I prefer, rather than trying to guess what the sites are like by looking at the online map. The trolley that traveled around the campground was a convenient way to get from the beach or pool to the most distant campsites.
We will definitely return to Odetah in the future.

Stayed for two nights in June 2020. Most of the activities in the campground (pool, splash park, boat rentals) not open due to COVID-19. Overall, nice campground if everything were open and if you like the resort-type experience. Sites are not that private so definitely not a park- like feel. It is a nice set up for families who like amenities. One negative is the dump station. Not good at all. Right by the entrance/exit, on a hill, and very tight area. Backs up traffic coming in and out and the right squeeze is tough if your RV is anything over 25 ft. Would think that a resort like this would have a much better thought out and designed dump area. WiFi service non existent too.

I chose site 43 as the map showed that it was close to mini golf and the pool since we had our grandsons staying with us for a few days. However, nowhere on the reservation website did it indicate that this was so close to the highway that the roadway was visible from the site and the noise level day and night was so loud. It was so loud that we could not relax and have a simple conversation outside at our campsite. This situation is not at all what I would consider to be a relaxing camping experience. I think the campground has a responsibility to let its guests know that this is what you get when you choose a site on that side of the campground. I’d like to say that the rate was much cheaper however we paid $108 on the weekend for all this fun, so not exactly a bargain. I have no problem paying for a nice experience especially when it comes to spending time with my grandsons but this was a huge ripoff. We will not return.

We arrived much later than the 3pm check in, but we still were able to stop by the store to get our paperwork. We arrived around 730p.
Our site was site “D” which was a full hook-up pull-thru site. The section can be hard to maneuver if you don’t go slow & take your turns wide enough. Our site had some low hanging branches. I wish they maintained the trees a little better but we were able to trim them back ourselves. Have some extra blocks bc some of the sites can be tricky as far as leveling. We were able to get mostly level. The site itself was half shaded and HUGE, which was nice. We fit our 41’ fifth wheel, our long bed dually, another pickup truck & still had room!!
The planned activities were fun. We only made time for a few, but our little one really enjoyed them.
The amenities were spectacular! The renovated pool/hot tub/splash pad area is gorgeous! LOTS of lounge chairs, a few tables with umbrellas, and cabanas. The hot tub was huge! And the pool was awesome. The splash pad was a huge hit for all of the kids! The lake was beautiful! Sadly we didn’t get a chance to rent a boat, but maybe next time. Lots of people fishing in the lake too. There’s a great playground down by the lake also.
They also have the Oasis restaurant. Thankfully they deliver (on most days) bc on our arrival day, there was no way we could set up & get a dinner ready before everyone became hangry! Lol the selection was great & the food was good. Highly recommend!
Only two ‘negatives’….I wish we could have rented a golf cart for the week. It is very hilly & the campground itself is HUGE! The distance between our site & our family’s site was long enough I would have liked to rent one for my family member with bad knees instead of having to take his truck everywhere. I’m sure there is a reason they don’t have them but the first & only time I wanted one, we couldn’t get it lol. The second was the no visitor policy. I was a little frustrated that we drove all this way to spend time with family & couldn’t have anyone visit bc we only stayed 6 nights. I would have gladly paid for each visitor a daily fee, but that wasn’t an option. I understand they don’t want a bunch of random people but really, how many people ACTUALLY have visitors? I’m pretty sure we were 1 of 2 sites that were not from CT/MA/RI.
Overall, I highly recommend this campground for a nice family get away. The whole family agreed that we would come back.
