Open year round and a stop on the 1400+ mile Buckeye Trail, the Blue Hen Falls offers spectacular views and an almost quiet, relaxing atmosphere. From the parking lot, its a short hike on an easy to intermediate trail. Bring good walking shoes or hiking boots. Use bug repellent during the warm weather seasons. Trail can be very icy during the snowy seasons. The parking lot close to the falls is very small, and the overflow parking across the street is a little bit bigger- something to be mindful of, especially on weekends and holidays when there's a lot of visitors. Check with the Cuyahoga Valley National Park website for hours. This place is worth a visit when in the Cleveland-Akron, Ohio area. Last but not least, its FREE to visit.
