“Great park if you are traveling thru”
Friendly staff, gravel sites, overnighters are at the back of the park near two roads, reasonably quiet. Great park if you are traveling thru and need a place to spend the night, we would stay here again. There is a lot of history here, which is interesting, and the museums are worth seeing. By the time you do all that you will want a place to stay nearby.

It is really a long parking lot with really long pull through's, where they put the trailer and RV back to back.
Very friendly staff, laundry, restrooms.....full hook up, good WIFI.....I had to send an sms to someone to get the password, but I got it in 5 minutes.
In front was a school and behind a field....so very quiet at night and only 2 minutes from the Interstate!!
It's a fine stop overnight, showers and laundry, friendly workers. Nothing outstanding but the prices reflect that (28$ on a Friday night 11/4/16, full hook up). Lot is a combination of mobile homes and RVs.
No tents allowed.
We needed a place to pull in for the night. This place was in the right spot on the map. It's a no-frills trailer/RV park. The spots are level gravel with brick patio pads. The water pressure is good. There is no privacy between the sites and it could use a good cleaning (there was some old dried toilet paper around the sewer opening (never a welcomed sight).
The bathrooms look like they belong in a scary movie from the outside. There is one locked bathroom and it's male/female. Inside it's decent, if not a little quirky. There are 2 toilets side-by-side. His and hers? No idea. I wasn't inclined to ask anyone to join me during my time in there.
Of note, we pulled through site 30 to get to site 33 (which was very easy). However, our nose is about 20-25 ft off of one of the main roads in town. Cars pass going 40 mph. It's not a show-stopper and we've only seen one or two cars so we didn't have a noise problem, but it matters if you're traveling with kids.
The town has more charm than expected. Pioneer Park has a large mine truck and an old fire truck kids can play on. There is a free aerospace museum in town. There are 2 restaurants. The RV park manager said they were both good and both cheap. We got a pizza at Andy's and it was decent.
We have 2 LTE bars on the iphone and the internet puck also has 2 LTE bars.
We're a family of 4 (2 kids under the age of 5) and a dog. We're traveling the country for a year in an '85 Winnebago. See more of our adventures at theamators.com.

I had a blow out as we rolled into the park. The Manager was very helpful. Air compressor, what do need?.
This is an older facility and is dated. The bathroom was rough but clean. Easy access and because we are smaller and ( manager asked,do you feel comfortable backing) we got a nice back in spot. He wanted to safe a pull through if possible for a big rig.
Good water, sewer,and electric.
Shell fuel and quick food across the street.
This is not your luxury RV compound but quite adequate.
The Manager was a hoot, came back to check on us and our tire change.
If you do not like Train noise this may not be your place. I enjoyed them

If you’re coming here thinking you can get the $20 Passport America rate, go somewhere else! The PA discount is only available in the dead heat of the summer (opposite of everywhere else) when nobody in their right mind would be camping in the desert.
At 2400’ elevation, Boron is not exactly a snowbird destination, either, with temps hovering around 28-34 degrees at night. Brrrrrr!
They will give you a $5 Good Sam discount.

It was either here, or the loves truckstop on the other side of the freeway. We opted for the RV park. It’s a little warm out this afternoon and rather than running the generator we could plug into 50 amp service and run the air conditioner. It seems pretty quiet here so far, but it’s still early, but it’s better than listening to the freeway and idling trucks all night long. They have water hook ups and sewer hook ups as well. The sites are short, I had to unhook my toad in order to park, but that’s OK, we’re going to go into town anyways.
My wife says I always take her to the nicest places. What’s wrong with looking across the street to an abandoned lot with a chain-link fence around it and tumbleweeds all over the place? Not to mention the Shell station/Food Mart on the corner as well. But that may come in handy later!

I’d have to say that this place isn’t the most luxurious RV place I e ever stayed at. It’s better than the truck stop across the freeway. We had full hookup so I did not check the restrooms/showers facilities. Mike was accommodating and set us up with a pull through spot within minutes of pulling in. Hey the place is clean, feels safe and it was for one night on our way back from the 4 corners area. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great little stopover-like going back to a simpler time. Nothing fancy but did the trick with hookups for RV.
It's a fine stop overnight, showers and laundry, friendly workers. Nothing outstanding but the prices reflect that (28$ on a Friday night 11/4/16, full hook up). Lot is a combination of mobile homes and RVs.
